About Direct 1031 Exchange
Direct 1031 Exchange offers accredited investors with direct access to participate in a Section 1031 exchange. The Direct 1031 Exchange team has over 100 years Commercial Real Estate Experience and over $1B in transaction and capital experience.  This experience ranges from capital raising, real estate development, real estate acquisitions/dispositions, and 1031 exchanges.

CEO

Mr. Brunger has over 19 years capital raising and management experience. He has coordinated over $1.5B of capital raised in Traditional and Alternative Assets. His experience includes the following positions: Senior Vice President, LaSalle Investments/JLL, Director. Fidelity Investments Institutional Services, Vice President Fidelity Charitable Services, and Vice President Regional Director, at NY Life MainStay Investments.

Mr. Brunger has Bachelor’s Degrees from the University of Vermont in Economics, English, and Political Science. He is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) and focuses his time away from work travelling with his wife and two children, running marathons, and volunteering in his community of Arlington, Massachusetts.

Louis H Reynolds III

Managing Director
Mr. Reynolds has spent the last 30 years raising capital and working with professionals and their clients. He has worked in many areas of the capital markets but most extensively with Institutional Real Estate managers.

Mr. Reynolds has personally raised over $2billion. Mr. Reynolds specializes in helping High Net Worth Families through their real estate decisions.

His positions have included:
Senior Vice President, Jones Lang LaSalle
Senior Vice President, Behringer Harvard
Senior Vice President, Kemper Investments

Mr. Reynolds holds degrees from California Polytechnic University in Finance, Real Estate, and Law.

He is a California native and lives in San Diego with his wife, five sons and a daughter.

Matt Bear is a real estate and finance business leader with a rich history of approximately 28 years of transactional, development and advisory experience, including 10 years of principal investing and retail real estate development. His experience covers many of the major markets of the United States with clients and key business relationships that span across the real estate, finance and private equity sectors.

Matt was one of two founding partners of Venture Development Group. He led a team of 18 professionals across three regional offices that encompassed development, finance, property management and legal management. Matt was directly responsible for the development and execution of the firm’s investment/development strategies, while leading all aspects of acquisitions, dispositions and leasing of commercial real estate assets.

Daniel Rusche

VP Investor Relations
Daniel Rusche is vice president of investor relations with Direct 1031 Exchange. He is a seasoned professional with more than 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, encompassing brokerage, acquisitions, asset management, leasing, investor relations and advisory services. Rusche has been licensed in the real estate industry since 2001 and in securities industry since 2013. He has held Series 7 and 63 securities licenses.

Prior to joining Direct 1031 Exchange, Rusche was chief operating officer of Ultimate Property Group, overseeing investment property acquisitions, due diligence processes, syndication and investment marketing. Throughout his career, he has held key positions with Camden Property Trust (CPT), Promiseland Investment Group, Realty Capital Securities and Thompson National Properties, LLC.

Rusche focuses on real estate acquisitions, advising real estate investors and benefitting his clients and investors through efficiently and economically incorporating the power and cost savings of internet technology.

Alexandria (“Alex”) Keser

Director of Operations

Alexandria (“Alex”) Keser, director of operations for Direct 1031 Exchange, is a seasoned real estate professional with more than eight years of industry experience.

Prior to joining Direct 1031 Exchange, Keser served as an administrative assistant at CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate firm. She served retail teams and the medical office team, with landlord and tenant representation and property sales. Keser obtained her Nevada real estate license in November 2015 to further assist her teams in leasing and sales transactions.

Keser spent the first four years of her career as a licensed community manager, supervising the residential operations of some of Las Vegas’ most well-known luxury high-rise condominium buildings and leading teams of 15 to 20 professionals to ensure smooth operations for both the employees and residents.
